Privacy compliance is an ongoing responsibility and we can support you by doing a health check assessment or a full audit of your privacy compliance position. Some organisations who do not have an internal audit function ask us to do this service on an annual basis.

 The service is particularly helpful for management and owners wishing to obtain an overall view of risk areas in need of attention. It is often good to do the assessments at a time when new technology or processes are introduced or when there is a turnover of staff.

We provide a traffic-light system report which ranks risks in order of urgency.  We also recommend actions to be taken and the timeframe for addressing the highest level risks. Often we also implement the improvement programme for clients.

 Price: £650 - £1,500 (excl VAT) per year 

Many organisations do not have in-house legal or privacy experts. In many cases employing a full-time staff member to support this function is simply not cost effective. We provide an alternative by supporting you on an outsourced basis. We become part of your team and will be there to support you if there is a data management crisis or if you just need quick advice over the phone.

 It is like having an in-house expert without the fixed cost.  We support you in managing data subject access requests and help with your record keeping compliance.  If you have a personal data breach we support you with fast expert advice and practical guidance to ensure you meet your legal obligations.

The annual fee includes a staff training day.

Organisations are required to put measures in place that demonstrate how they are complying with data protection legislation.  An important part of this responsibility is to train staff how to deal with personal data processed by the organisation. 

 We provide GDPR training to help your staff feel confident in handling data. The training covers areas such as identifying personal data, the legal basis for processing, subject access requests, reporting data breaches and keeping records.  

We do the training at your office and design case studies that are suited to your situation and sector to make it relevant and interesting .

Marketing compliance is often the most difficult area of privacy compliance as it is governed by complicated legislation. A weakness in this compliance area is often where the most damage can be done to an organisation's reputation and it is always on the radar of regulators.

We support marketing teams by helping them define the legal basis for their processing, analysing the compliance of the systems, platforms, channels and processes in use and by providing expert advice on electronic marketing campaigns.

We provide practical advice on Consent and how to deal with unsubscribe requests. This often includes support in the configuration of marketing databases and platforms.

Every organisation is now required to put in place what is called “appropriate technical and organisational measures” to demonstrate compliance. We provide bespoke Data Protection Policies that show how the organisation complies with this requirement. 

We provide a Data Protection Policy for your organisation that deals with aspects such as data breaches, data subject access requests, HR and staff data, marketing compliance, information security and governance. It is essentially the "how to" guide for your staff.

We also provide the registers your organisation need to demonstrate compliance such as the  Records of Processing Activity (RoPA). We train you how to keep the registers up to date and how to select your legal basis for processing for each activity.
